This is ARDEN BX3 series, 3 flute TCT straight router bit with chip breaker. It is the upgraded version of ARDEN’s straight router bits. Compared to Arden’s standard straight bits, it offers an 80% improvement in work efficiency.

This TCT router bit is suitable for high-speed cutting, with non-laminated particleboard cutting speeds reaching 22-26 m/min. These CNC wood bits produce smooth, burr-free cuts in a single pass. It can be used with CNC router machines ,handheld routers, CNC machining center for cutting, drilling, circle cutting, grooving, bottom cleaning, engraving, and trimming. These 3 flute straight router bits can cut various types of wood boards including chipboard, plywood, solid wood, wood core board, MDF, and HDF.

Benefits of Arden BX3 router bit:
1. Made from Luxembourg ceratizit carbide rods, significantly enhances the bending strength and hardness of the cutting edge, making it resistant to chipping and highly durable.
2. Compared to Arden’s standard straight cut router bits, work efficiency is improved by 80%.
3. Durability is increased by 165% compared to Arden’s standard straight bits, with reduced consumption and noise levels.
4. Teflon coating technology provides high-temperature resistance and reduces friction, extending tool life by 18% compared to Arden’s original sandblasted treatment.
5. Processed using a German Walter 5-axis machining center, achieving micron-level grinding precision.

Recommended Parameters:
- Speed: 21,000 rpm
- Feed Rate: 18~20 m/min

Instruction of CNC router bits usage:
- Arden router bits are designed for professional woodworkers based on different processing materials, mainly divided into five categories: particleboard, MDF, solid wood, acrylic, and artificial stone. Woodworkers must select the right tool for the material to achieve optimal cutting performance and durability, and to avoid breaking the cutting tool due to excessive pressure. All CNC cutting tools are designed for clockwise rotation.
- All Arden bits undergo balance testing upon completion to ensure no runout issues. Please choose a high-quality CNC machine and CNC collets to ensure no vibration or runout during use.
- choose the correct size CNC collet. If the CNC collet is no longer perfectly round or shows signs of wear, the collet cannot securely hold the router bit. Replace it immediately with a standard-specification collet to avoid the risk of tool vibration, flying out, or breaking during high-speed rotation.
- The installation depth of the CNC wood bits shank should follow EU regulations. For example, a 12.7mm shank diameter must be clamped to a depth of 24mm to maintain the necessary pressure resistance.
- For larger diameter CNC router bits, set the speed according to the following speed chart, and feed the tool slowly, maintaining a consistent feed rate. Do not stop advancing during the cutting process.
Suggested router speeds:
| Blade Diameter | Maximum speed |
| 1″ (25mm) | 24,000 RPM |
| 1-1/4″ -2″ (30-50mm) | 18,000 RPM |
| 2-1/4″ -2-1/2″ (55-65mm) | 16,000 RPM |
| 3″ -3-1/2″ (75-90mm) | 12,000 RPM |

- When the router bit becomes dull, replace it promptly with a new one. Do not continue using it to avoid tool breakage and potential injury.
- Choose a CNC router bit with a cutting length greater than the depth of the workpiece. For example, if you need to mill a groove 12.7mm deep, select a tool with a cutting length of 25.4mm. Avoid using tools with a cutting length of 12.7mm or less.
- During cutting, users must wear safety glasses and use a push stick. When using handheld router, a kickback device should also be used to prevent the workpiece from rebounding during high-speed cutting, which could cause accidents.
